The A-List

A list of things I need to do
At least in rhyme I’ll see them through

Because it seems like every day
The things I want to do and say

Get dropped as things I didn’t see
Demand my time and steal my me

Yes I know, just say no
You ever try to stop the show?

So rather than simply carry through
Here’s my list, of things to do

To love life better, that’s a start
To put some wheels out on this cart

And while we’re at it, to love you
My fellow person, through and through

To celebrate, that comes next
Every moment, in deed and text

Bring a smile to someone’s face
Don’t look now, you’re in a race

’Cause once you start the laughter going
Happiness is what they’re showing
